[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Email being snared by gmail

So how do you set up a gmail filter to cause yahoo and verizon emails to go
to inbox and not go to spam?
I've tried training the spam filter (didn't work) so I found a way that
works all the time.  You set up a filter.

Note this works only for gmail.
