George,
Thanks for finding this for us. After you’ve digested the 573 page transcript, please provide us with a summary and your personal conclusions as to whether the presenting “climate scientists" seemed to be knowledgable and honest, whether anthropogenic global warming seems to be a real thing, if so whether its cause is actually CO2, and if it’s a phenomenon of scientific curiosity that should be of no real world concern to anyone other than climate scientists.

Or, given that the 2014 conference seemed to be a discussion that was meant to lead to a revised consensus statement by the APS, perhaps you can find the more concise APS statement or monograph that developed from this process. Something more trustworthy perhaps than the report prepared by the collaborative efforts of the UN's IPCC - which was so maligned by our speaker - who came armed with complex dazzling graphics from the Heartland Institute.
    John Brown

PS-
DOUBT is the principle product of the climate denial industry (which was formerly the tobacco denial industry, at which time it was funded by the big tobacco companies, and which managed to forestall action against smoking for decades). The star player in both efforts has long been the Heartland Institute.
