OK, I’ve gotten 8 replies.  The common thread is that if the cables are decent (they are) then coiling them is unlikely to make any difference.  And as an experimenter I’ll just cable them and see if it makes a difference that my 75 year old ears can discern.  If I pick up a radio station from Moscow I’ll rethink
