Folks,

Yesterday was exciting -- at least for me when I didn't really understand
how to share my screen successfully.

Here are some takeaways:

   1. We need to record in an ongoing document hints on how to give
   successful online presentations to our group using Zoom.  It's not as easy
   to test whether you are doing things correctly when you experiment with a
   Zoom conference all by yourself.  I will start such a document in Google
   Docs and then share it with the rest of your for your additions.
   2. For those who would like to see what we built together yesterday, you
   can go to the following link from your laptop or smartphone to see the app
   in operation:

   3. For those who would like to change your current photograph from one
   of the Simpson placeholders, please send me your photo as an email
   enclosure (please do not include it as an inline photo).  I will update
   your entry.
   4. For those who would like to submit information about yourself to be
   included as a member, please go to the following URL and answers the
   questions:

   5. For those who would like to try your hand at using Glide or to review
   what we built yesterday, I suggest you go to https://lexctg.glideapp.io on
   your laptop and click on the "copy this app" link.  This will make a
   private copy of the app that belongs to you.  You can make changes but they
   will not alter the version that I control.  If you come up with some things
   you think we should add to the official app, please let me know and if I
   agree, I will transfer them to my version of the app.

That covers most of what I wanted to say about this today.  One of the
things I am going to add is the ability to edit entries from the smartphone
app itself.  At this point, you will be able to change responses you made
initially on the Google Form.  I have added two new fields (Resume and
Companies worked at) which you will be able to enter if you want.
