[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Mac help needed

O wise ones,

A Lexingtonian I know has been having quite a bit of trouble with Mac
stuff: backups that don't restore, files that seem to disappear, etc. The
impatient proprietors of the Apple "genius bar" have made some of these
problems worse. This person is quite intelligent, although not technically
proficient, would greatly appreciate some competent and patient help, and
can pay for help if that's the best route.
