Thanks for the follow-up and link from Dan. I was aware of research 
being done using electronic devices (chips) to take brain activity to 
drive limb movement and/or to induce brain activity to cause 
visualizations in humans. But to build a chip to mimic the brain's 
functioning! Wow!! I'm pessimistic for a number of reasons, but all for 
trying to do it!
