I would think which brand you pick would depend on which type of cell phone you have - Apple or Android.

 

As for LTE, I have a cellular watch and don’t remember if fall detection would be more accurate with LTE. Generally, the additional cost is $10/month.

Personally, my cell carrier only supports the Apple LTE watch. No time frame for supporting Samsung. 

I'm very curious to know if anyone has a new Samsung Watch 4 and which version?

The sale on Samsung ends soon, which is why I'm looking forward to some quick and current feedback from anyone that has a new Samsung watch 4. 

BTW, if you order a watch from Samsung's website you can customize the style and color of the band. If you want your watch more immediately, Best Buy is price matching Samsung's $40 discount.
