[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Any new Smart Watch's out there?

 Oura has been advertising heavily on my TiVo DVR. It seems to be feature-rich, but pricey and "trendy" -- not really good signs for product longevity in the marketplace. But it definitely does advertise Blood Oxygen while you sleep and disease prediction. Not COVID-specific in ads due to liability issues.

It's more of a general discussion about research papers about detecting COVID while you sleep. For example, one of the examples uses an Oura ring which is more of a fitness tracker and not a smartwatch.

The most amusing part of the sales pitch was when he tried to upsell me the stainless steel version over the aluminum. When he told me the steel one was "heirloom quality", I started cracking up. Of course he couldn't even promise me that Apple would support the "heirloom quality" watch for a decade. I'm pretty sure my grandchildren wouldn't be wearing mine, even if it were steel.

Personally, my cell carrier only supports the Apple LTE watch. No time frame for supporting Samsung.

The sale on Samsung ends soon, which is why I'm looking forward to some quick and current feedback from anyone that has a new Samsung watch 4.

BTW, if you order a watch from Samsung's website you can customize the style and color of the band. If you want your watch more immediately, Best Buy is price matching Samsung's $40 discount.
