Drew,

I have been using LibreOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird and Lightning
(calendar) for years without any issues. My primary calendar is Google
and I am able to manage it through the Lightning extension and share
appointments with my wife easily. In addition, my wife uses LibreOffice
on her Macbook.

I don't see why I had to pay Microsoft for any office software when the
open source software meets all my needs.
