Hi Folks,

Here are some additional details on what to expect in my talk at 7 pm today.

"Back when" the Computer and Technology group focused primarily on
computers.  The pendulum has now swung to the Technology side, but I will
briefly push it back to talk about computer subjects.

I will report upon an investigation that I am just completing regarding
controlling file size for a PDF document that contains lots of photographs.
I will discuss the size of photo images, particularly as they affect email.
Why are our photos so large, and what do we really need? What are some of
the things we can do to manage photo size?

Why are PDF files useful, and how can you easily create them by printing to
a PDF?  We will look at some different methods for creating PDFs and
compare the results.

My presentation will involve demonstrations using Windows 10, iPhone, and
Macintosh software.

I look forward to seeing a number of old friends, and meeting some new ones
on Zoom.
