Rein Beeuwkus, a classmate of mine gave a talk on fusion at the club 4 years ago.  He is one of the folks behind the MIT effort and gave an hour talk to my MIT class 2 weeks ago. It is either available or will soon be and I will acquire a copy and send out the reference.  Pretty exciting stuff

My comment: It can now be said that fusion power is beyond the joke that fusion is 10 years away and has been for the past 50 years. 20 Tesla in a large bore coil is enough to support fusion.
