Mike --
I didn't mean to imply that beryllium and lithium are all that expensive,
just not as dirt cheap as deuterium.  However, it looks like there is a lot
of processing needed before being used, and that will drive up the price.
I also don't know if the ceramic pebbles need to be replaced from
time-to-time.
