The 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded jointly to Alain Aspect [Université Paris-Saclay ], John F. Clauser  [ J.F. Clauser & Assoc., Walnut Creek, CA ] and Anton Zeilinger [ University of Vienna ] to 2 Europeans and a native-born American for: "for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell inequalities and pioneering quantum information science"
