Lots of good uses. Expessially, coworkers who work from home and also need access to computers in the possession of other employees.

Personally, I use it to remotely access my home pc from my cell. 

You can also use ordinary remote control software to access your home pc without needing to open ports on your router.

Also very good for use with Syncthing file sharing software. Https://syncthing.net
