[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Problems with Gmail

You need to replace your email sender with a trusted one. There are a few services that can do that, I use SMTP2GO and send sufficiently few emails that I’m on their free tier. It has DKIM certification which helps deal with the bouncing issue you’re seeing.

It’s been a while since I set it up, but if I recall, you sign up for an account, then put the appropriate entries in your DNS records along these lines (see below, this is in Cloudflare) That handles the sending side. Separately I use forwardemail, net to forward all inbound emails to the domain to my gmail account.

Finally I set up “Send as” in gmail to add my custom domain as an option for sending through smtp2go. Now I can use Gmail as the client, and choose whether to send from my gmail or custom domain.

See a sample of the rejection message below. Something I will get a reject and I send the same message out a second time and it works okay. Other times it fails again. I have a Gmail account of my own that I can use but I prefer to use this one.
