 The content on OpenCourseWare is made available under a Creative Commons license, meaning users are free to share and adapt it for noncommercial purposes as long as they “give appropriate credit.”
So the videos can and will be hosted somewhere, just never again on an MIT related site. That is reasonable, and lucky. Not all academic videos are licensed so freely. 

MIT does not have to host content by people whose conduct or alleged conduct violates its standards. 
Neil DeGrasse Tyson was hit by different but related charges, and FOX almost did not air the final season of his Cosmos reboot. But the series did eventually get onto a streaming platform.
One moral of these stories is to make sure your content is broadly licensed and that you have some personal control over reposting it. If possible, don't leave the fate of your work to just one organization.
