Jonathan -- Harry will not be here on Feb. 1st. The announcement for that date needs to be revised.
So far, I have not heard from anyone about helping me out with a review of cryptocurrency and blockchain basics. So I guess I'll be on my own. I still need to dig up some slides from other talks I've given on those aspects. (Don't worry -- I have them, just need to dig them out and select a brief overview.)

Einstein Rings: Gravitational lensing occurs when enormous masses like giant black holes or clusters of galaxies warp and deflect light coming from behind them. “Point” sources appear as arcs. When the source and deflector are properly aligned, the arc can be a closed circle – an Einstein Ring. The Sun's deflection of starlight is a small scale example of what becomes large scale when clusters of galaxies are the deflecting matter. Presented by Paul L. Schechter, an MIT emeritus professor of astrophysics.
