[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] self measuring eyeglass prescriptions

What I would really love to see is a "personal lens grinder machine" - when
my new (expensive) glasses came in I was disappointed to see that the
distance was only in focus at the top (what seemed) tiny portion of the
lens. So I have to tip my head down to see distance.  I now keep a "spare"
cheap set in the glove compartment, distance only, nothing fancy, for
driving when I go distances.   This would supplement Ted's automated,
computer driven assessment of your focal needs, and then grind the lenses
on the spot to the customer's preference.
