CORRECTION!

On Linux Mint, I installed via the software manager, and then I checked
for updates inside the software. The zoom software on mint which is
flatpak version correctly identified itself as being out of date and I
was offered a button to click on that brought me to the zoom website
where I was able to download the current version of the Debian installer
for Linux Mint so there is the option to download the software directly
from zoom website but you should always check for the updates every time
you launch zoom prior to going into a meeting all you need to do is run
zoom 10 minutes prior to your meeting and check for updates and if there
is one download it.

*Here is another way to always download the latest Zoom software for Linux:*

|wget https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_amd64.deb|

Run this command from within your "Downloads" directory.
