I heard a talk by their CEO a couple of years ago, quite impressive.   Like Tesla, he’d identified the charging network as key, even more than range, so they were working on landing/recharging pads that would buy and store enough energy for a relatively short recharge cycle when the VTOL craft landed.  They were focused on freight, not passengers.  Haven’t followed progress closely, but it was an interesting pitch.
