[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Buying computer speakers - help wanted!

A photo (especially of the ports on the computer) would help, but 
Tracy's description makes me think that the cable from the old speaker 
system has a conventional USB-A connector, while the new computer only 
has USB-C ports.  If that's the case, it should work fine with an 
adapter like this
