All,

All of this just once again brings back the famous graffiti on the back of
one of the wooden chairs in the original incarnation of the Legendary MIT
Lecture Hall -- 10-250 [Maclaurin Building -- Huntington Lecture Hall  ---
for those unfamiliar with MIT Campus-speak]
The Hall dates to the era of the completion of the original Cambridge
Campus circa 1920
Carved into the curved wooden back side of the chair [on the side facing
the next row behind]:

been replaced by cushioned chairs -- so its reality is lost to history
