Maybe this is from the resistance, since the T. administration declared that Calibri is “woke” and government communications should shift to Time New Roman.

They were announceing a new serif in town.

Are you sure the 2 blank letters were also Times New Roman?

If you start a new Word document, using TNR, what happens with

the quick brown fox jumps over the fence

in both lower and upper case?

Also, try copying the contents of the original problematic document and then do a paste-special into a new blank document with no formatting. What happens when you print that?

Today I printed three things on Cynthia’s HP printer. Two were fine. The second (WORD doc) had a blank space where every lower case b or p was. I know of no option to save ink that way. The first item was an email and that was fine, as was the third, another word document. The bad one was fine on the screen prior to the print.

Has anyone seen anything like this? The bad one was Times New Roman and when Cynthia printed it from her computer to the same printer it was fine.
