[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Local Backup with Windows 11

Hello Group,

I wasted time finding a solution and thought I'd share it, in case anyone
has a similar need.

If you want to automatically back up your data files to a
connected external drive, it used to be simple and obvious in Windows 10.
In Windows 11, this feature still exists, but it's not under Settings,
where you would expect it.

Instead, go to the *Start* menu and search for *Control** Panel*. That is
the key. Navigate to *<System and Security>*, then *<Maintenance>*, then *<File
History>*. This takes you to a menu where you can *Turn on* or *Turn off* File
History, *Run now* (to initiate a backup immediately), *Restore personal
files*, *Select* (a backup) *drive*, *Exclude* (certain specified)* folders*,
or go to *Advance settings* where you can set a schedule for backups and
deletion of older files, etc.

I hope this is useful to someone.
