[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Printer Recommendations

All,

Never -- NEVER subscribe to an ink service

I had a very nice HP Office Jet all in one -- Indeed I still have it --
sitting forlorn and unused for almost a year
To make a long and very unpleasant litany of events somewhat short

   1. I subscribed to the HP ink cartridge supply service [subsequently I
expanded it to paper as well]
   2. All was well and good for the first year
   3. My credit card to which things were billed expired and before I could
   update the system
   4. The printer refused to talk to the computer
   5. The ink cartridges stopped coming but the billing continued
   6. no manner of human intervention stopped the process until -- we
called the bank -- and utilized my wife's experience as a retired banker
-- to stop the most recent payment

Meanwhile I bought an Epson Eco-tank and have been fine with its printing
and I still have plenty of ink in the bottles

Ted
