FWIW - my two cents
Besides owning HP 9010, HP LaserJet Pro MFP and Canon G7000, I regularly use the Canon for everyday use: color and B-W pages. Ink comes in bottles and lasts and lasts. The 9010 I use for good images only (photos). The HP MFP I use occasionally when issues develop with the Canon.

Don't count Epson Ecotank printers out. They have the advantage of allowing users to add only the amount of ink they need for a reasonable period of time. This reduces waste and reduces the risk of the ink drying up and damaging or clogging the print heads.

I don't have experience with these printers, but I do know you can subscribe to ink deliveries. This is not required, unlike many HP inkjet models.
