[Lex Computer & Tech Group/LCTG] Asteroid hit

A few months ago, I gave a talk on asteroids hitting the earth, shortly
after the probability of the latest one dropped close to zero.

 

In this month's Technology Review, there is an excellent detailed article on
the astronomy effort behind the tracking of the asteroid as it went up to a
3% hit and then down to zero.  There is now about a 4% probability that it
will hit the moon.
