Jerry's project was presented at the LHS Science Fair where I was one of
the judges. I didn't judge his project, but went back at the end of the
judging to talk with him and take a quick look at his presentation. He
told me then that he was going to Washington, D.C. for a week break from
LHS to make a presentation at the Regeneron meeting.

I recently received a communication from the coordinator of the LHS
Science Fair updating us on some pertinent results from that event.
Below is that communication. Notable are the listed students  which
represent approximately half of the presenters at the LHS Science Fair.
They will be presenting at the state science fair held annually at MIT.
LHS is turning out some very good science students!

Good afternoon-

Many thanks for sharing your time and expertise judging the projects
presented at the annual LHS science fair last month.  The LHS fair is
the kick off for students into the science fair "season" beginning with
the Region IV fair followed by the Massachusetts High School Science &
Engineering Fair coming up on April 9, 2026, where the following
students will be presenting:

Jerry Xu- Computer Science
Ester Kim- Computer Science
Rafarshi Mandal- Mathematics
Mira Xu- Physics
Parnika Mysore- Biochemistry
Austin Li- Computer Science
Anushka Aiyar- Microbiology
Sophia Kao- Microbiology
Laiba Khan- Mathematics

There would not be a fair without our dedicated and talented pool of
judges.  Many thanks for your support.
