About two years ago I had an issue on my computer and  took it into the Geek Squad.  They moved me to the new Outlook and I lost my entire address book.  When I got them to return to the old outlook I had to entirely rebuild the address list

I use use Outlook Classic on my Win11 desktop to connect with a Gmail account, an MSN email account, an Outlook.com email account and an Exchange account (alum.mit.edu <http://alum.mit.edu> ). 

 

I also connect those same email accounts to the Gmail app on my Galaxy S26Ultra phone and both the Gmail and Apple mail app on my iPad mini 7. They are all connected using IMAP protocol. It all works fine; a change on one device (reading, deleting, creation ) is always reflected on the other devices as soon as they sync, every few minutes.

 

I dread being forced to move from Outlook Classic to "modern" Outlook.

I use outlook (the old one) and have my PC and cell phone share mail.  This was set up by Best Buy when I bought the hardware.  So I don’t know.  I subscribe to Best Buy’s The Geek Squad and find that it is worth the money.

I got your name from Jay Flynn, a Lexington friend who suggested you might know someone who could help me.

  

I use Outlook on two pc's and had the pc's and my cellphone syncing email. Somehow I have stopped Microsoft Outlook accessing Gmail and need to fix that.
