I'll also put in a recommendation for em Client (eM Client | The Best
Email Client for Windows and Mac <https://www.emclient.com/>). Microsoft
kept pushing me to the Outlook web interface on my Windows laptop no
matter how hard I tried to stay with Outlook Classic. When I looked at
the available mail interfaces other than Outlook, I thought emClient
would work the best for me and I've been very happy with it. There's a
free version which is ok. I opted to pay the $60 for the premium version
and lifetime upgrades. There's a $10 annual fee for VIP Support and
that's been helpful, so it's been worth the $10/year to me.

There's a version for iOS and Android. If you're using em Client on your
PC, you get a QR code when you install the mobile app and that does all
of the set up. The mobile app is missing a few features of the PC
version (for example, no rules on the mobile app), but it gets the job
done.

Fyi,
Harriet

I left outlook behind about 20 years ago and have not looked back.

Thunderbird/ Betterbird is the best email program available.
