<p>I just assumed Steve was asking about a laptop because he
mentioned the display, but I guess he could just have been talking
about the graphics card. I agree that, portability aside, desktops
are the way to go. But portability is important for many of us!</p>
<p>Personally I use my laptop most of the time as a desktop,
connected to a 4K monitor, kb, mouse, stereo and lots of other
things via usb. But it is a wonderful thing to be able to take it
places from time to time, and these days laptops have plenty of
power for many applications. I do a lot of audio editing and some
video editing, for example.</p>
<p>Anyway, I'd be glad to share my experience with this new
<a href="http://frame.work" target="_blank">frame.work</a> laptop with the group once I have some more time with
it.<br>
