<div dir="ltr">Happy New Year!<div>J&J and Apple are doing a study of seniors such as ourselves and if you are selected you can get an apple watch for somewhere between $50 and $80. I joined the study but was put in a group that did not use a watch. Many restrictions (need to own an iPhone at least as young as a 6s), read the details at <a href="https://www.heartline.com/">https://www.heartline.com/</a>. I know several folks who have been put in the apple watch portion of the study and are happily using their discounted devices. The apple watch has a "fall detector" that can call for help if you impact the ground. A friend's mother also used it to call him when she fell and her phone was on the counter (she was on the floor) - placed the call via the watch.</div><div><br></div><div>I don't think I would have been happy with the battery life - read up the details. A battery on a wearable device should imho last a week and many fall quite short of that ideal capacity.
