All,

Many folks now and then need to email a file(s)
larger than say 20 megabytes. (Typical ISP limit). These days
pictures from a camera phone can get quite large, especially if
you have many of them to email to somebody. You can use this
service to send hundreds of pictures to people and not have to
include all of those pictures in each individual email. All you
put in each email message is the hyperlink to the files on their
server.

I found this simple and free website for emailing
large files to people that you might find useful from time to
time. You upload files and the hyperlinks they generate for you
expire in one week when they dump the files that you posted.
There is no need/reason to create an account unless you feel
like you want one so all you need to do is keep this in your
toolbox for when you need to send an email to somebody with file
attachments that exceed your normal email provider limit of say
20 megabytes.

You can upload and email files up to two gigabytes
in size for free.

While services like this are handy for emailing
large files they are also handy for times when you need to
simply move or transfer files from one computer to another and
you don't have a flash drive handy. Simply upload your files
from the source computer to their cloud storage and get a
hyperlink that you will use to download those files onto the
destination computer. There are probably other uses for this
type of service as well.
