Well, it's all about choice. Microsoft is trying to limit
everyone's right to choose which computer they own can be upgraded
to 11. There are plenty of great machines out there that fail for
no good reason. So what if there's no facial recognition or disk
encryption?

Personally, I would never recommend anyone hack their primary
production computers. If however, someone has a perfectly good
second or third machine with plenty of CPU and RAM why should they
be forced to run an out-of-date OS on their older computer if
spec-wise it's plenty capable?

A friend is in this boat. He has a fairly new computer, (2 years
old) running 10. Plenty of RAM, a fast CPU, and runs 10
perfectly. He wants to run 11 at some point only Microsoft has
already poo-pooed his CPU. Yes, the compatibility checker failed
his processor and he has a faster clock speed than my Windows 11
computer does. MANY people are finding out their perfectly good
computers are being denied by Microsoft. People are very upset!

If somebody has a spare computer and they would like to upgrade it
from Windows 10 to Windows 11 so they can learn more about how to
use it or perhaps they are an IT administrator and want to learn
for work why should they be denied the right to do so?
