<div dir="ltr">Max Born was a founder of quantum mechanics.  It was he who explained to Heisenberg that he was doing matrix algebra and to Schrödinger that the square of the wave function was probability of a measurement.  Olivia Newton John was Max Born's granddaughter.  She has died of cancer at age 73.</div>
