I was at BBN but not in either of the groups involved. BBN was holding a meeting on Artificial Intelligence. (The "AI" acronym had not yet caught on.) Someone put a sign in the Lobby with an arrow pointing in the direction of the auditorium with the words "Artificial Intelligence this way". In less than an hour someone from the Architectural Acoustics group put up another sign with an arrow that said "Real Intelligence this way" pointing in their direction.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:georgia,serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:georgia,serif">Besides being a good joke it is and it was really much more profound.
