I tried the suggestions to copy the contents and then paste-text only into something else and that worked moderately well. Pasting into an email or into Word produced something readable. I also tried forwarding it but telling Outlook to format it as plain text rather than html. (You can’t do this in Outlook to a received message, only to one you are sending.) The only downside to both methods is that hyperlinks get changed into plain text and need a little manipulation to make them back into hyperlinks. Only messages from this sender have this problem, but as the class instructor he is going to send more messages.
