Ted is right: the idea that physical “constants” are not truly constant has been around for quite a while. When I was a grad student in physics, I remember, Professor David Bohm (Princeton; author of a quantum mechanics text) tried to construct a non-constant physical constant (NC<span id="m_5983750008635326543yahoo-rte-cursor-span"></span>PC ?) theory.<div><br></div><div>What I find interesting about the new <span>NC</span><span id="m_5983750008635326543yahoo-rte-cursor-span"></span><span>PC </span><span>t</span><span>heory is that, on the surface, it might have genuine application.
