I actually set up my Microsoft accounts with passkeys not too long
ago and it was very seamless. Google accounts are even easier.<br>
<br>
The only confusion for me with Microsoft is that when you login, you
have to know to select "sign in options" instead of typing a
username/password and from there, select Face, Fingerprint, PIN, or
security key. The passkey prompt does not happen automatically even
if you have one stored unlike Google.<br>
<br>
I'm happy to get on a Zoom call if you are not sure how to proceed
and want to switch to using passkeys.<br>

has had several presentations which explained passkeys, how
they work, and how password managers can use them. It's only
a matter of time before all the major tech services will
eliminate traditional passwords. I would expect Google and
