i took professor kleppener's physics course in my freshman year at MIT - or<br>
i should say the one taught from his textbook. it was 8.012. sadly, i<br>
had to settle for a young at that time little-known "substitute" lecturer<br>
however the year i took it ('82), prof. alan guth. <br>

very pleasant memories, indeed.<br>
