Does the 2019 Bolt support wired CarPlay? If so, while I have not
personally used one, I have read about them and it would do what he
wants.<br>
<br>
I have a third party CarPlay unit with a screen that supports both
wireless and wired Carplay, so I assume a dongle line the one in the
picture would work fine. Sometimes the wireless is finicky but I'm
overall happy with its performance (mind is pretty old now). One
thing you have to be mindful of when using wireless carplay is the
battery drain, for example, when using GPS. If the charging port on
the phone doesn't work, this may become an issue unless he also has
a wireless charging device in the car.<br>
