How were the heavier elements formed? Interesting mystery which has dogged cosmology and physics for decades. Because, first-generation stars only produce through nuclear fusion, the elements up to iron, and not all of those. (Once a star reaches the iron-core phase, it explodes in a supernova.) The new theory involves neutron stars and neutron star collisions. (This information may have been presented to the Lexington Technology group previously.)
