My wife is an avid reader and frequently checks out ebooks from various
libraries. She has gone through a succession of Barnes & Noble NOOK
e-readers before switching to a Samsung Chromebook the last few years.
Chromebooks theoretically are more secure than laptops for financial
transactions especially if dedicated. Hardware is cheap, and we maintain
minimum local data.
