Hi Drew, thanks for the reminder - there are a number of this kind of free
service.
I'd just caution everyone to avoid sending confidential information unless
you password protect it somehow.
While there is encouragement (in your face!) to buy, none of these should
need any purchase. Just look for the "X" to close the pop up window
suggesting you should part with your money :-) ...
I've also found that pCloud gets you to 5 Gig in one transfer--
*Sending Large Files*
For free, there are many options, and you do not need to sign up nor create
an account to use these services. Enter your email, the recipient's email,
and upload your file (or drag it to the appropriate part of the window) --
the recipient will download the file by clicking on a link. These files can
be up to 2 gigabytes in size, some services allow larger files.
1. TransferNow: https://www.transfernow.net/en/
2. Pcloud Transfer: https://transfer.pcloud.com/
3. WeTransfer https://wetransfer.com/
There are many others, and none of them should require you to create an
account. Generally you put in your email to get notifications of success
when someone has received the file.
