Ted,

You'll get a much cleaner uninstall if you use the free version of Revo 
Uninstaller.

https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-free/

You can use the free “Portable” version, so there's no need to install 
anything first.

Software uninstallers always leave things behind that can hinder a clean 
installation.
