But the whole routine should have failed to compile and run in the first place due to typos in the source code: "avacados" and "avacodos" vs. the avocados that were to have been sought at the shop.

This is what computers do when your instructions aren’t precise enough.  Also, probably what robots will do when we give them tasks.
