While we might excuse the result of executing an improperly-specified and consequently ambiguous procedure, the gentleman actually failed to meet the project's detailed design spec: She specifically asked for a carton of milk, whereas he returned with milk in bottles.

But the whole routine should have failed to compile and run in the first place due to typos in the source code: "avacados" and "avacodos" vs. the avocados that were to have been sought at the shop.
