Ted,

The Wilson Science Forum did host Richard Lindzen as featured speaker on two Fridays in 2022.

You can find the presentations, the first in April and the second, a conversation between Lindzen and Emanuel, in November, linked in this archived -

Nothing at all wrong with someone like Emanuel talking -- but he is clearly biased away from a neutral position
You would need to balance him with a Bjon Lonborg or perhaps a Richard Lindzen

The real problem is that most of these people are trying to compare models to models -- few of them actually can define the relevant metrics in measured data

I'd like some of the climate pontificators to apply their models to the Tonga Experimental injection of massive amounts of H20 into the upper atmosphere which we can track in real-time

Subject: A Thought...

John,

I host the Wilson Science and Technology Forum in Winchester. We exchanged messages earlier this year on a presentation by Kerry Emanuel on climate issues. I sense that we may have many interests in common with LCTG. To that point, one of our members, Vincent Dixon, recently videotaped a Christmas Forum Program for our group in which he narrated a conversation about the technology and national security origins of some well-know Christmas songs. He then sang these songs! While Vincent is a known historian, and writer it appears now that he is in addition a singer! I found the experience interesting for a technology-oriented group. It adds a new dimension to our programming.

At any rate, the link to this program is as follows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLsahTrO6h0 <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLsahTrO6h0__;!!HGYKHdhaPg!Qj9iwZ19kaPRteZHiwcc1nEgYTqXz1YXX6duoqgBBDmN72Enljy3Yqr_c_Zuvuf61h4J9V8vAs6yGA-Pzw$> . If you think that this video may be of interest to LCTG, please feel free to show it to your crew. Let me know.

Meanwhile, Happy Holidays!

Ron
