All,

Very good open source authenticator app.

For authentication, I use https://2fas.com/ . It's in the app store for
Android and iPhone.

What's really nice, is you can back up your server list in the
authenticator to either the cloud or a file in case you need to restore
the application, or you get a different phone.

*When you set up two-factor authentication, always write down the 16
digit secret key that the website gives you. *Put it in a safe place
like a *password manager*, this way you can recreate your account in a
different authenticator app should you need to. Otherwise, you can find
yourself locked out of the website completely because if you replace
your phone, for example, you have no way of generating the two-factor codes.

I have the authenticator app installed on both my phone and tablet, so I
can use either for gaining access to websites that have two-factor
authentication enabled. If you're on Android and use the default Google
Authenticator app, there is no security when you open the app and
there's no way to back up your secret keys for the servers.

Drew.
