See my analysis of the problem and show me I'm not thinking logically. I may have this problem framed incorrectly.
I repeat, this image never happened in any actual game show.

That was my first answer, but then when I thought that there are three answers equally likely. If it is 0, one of four picks gets it. If 25 two picks etc and averaging 25, 25 and 50 gets 33

Bob,
Consider the following picture:
I know this problem is different from the other one, but I can't think hard enough to figure out how it isn't a 1-to-1 mapping from the previous problem.
Here is how I did the mapping:
- replace 25% with the red blocks
- replace 50% with the blue block
- replace 0% with the yellow block
So, in essence I have treated the % values in the four answers as symbols rather than values. This problem appears to have a correct answer: 50%
Oh, I get it. The reason it is unsolvable is because the "meaning" or "information" in the for correct answer is indeed 50%, but the probability of any one answer being the correct answer (50%) is actually 25%.
I am sure there must be a mapping of this problem to a provable contradiction.
It's interesting that ChatGPT gets the wrong answer:
- ChatGPT:
Hello, How can I assist you?
- Harry:
If you choose an answer to this question at random what is the chance that you will be correct?
The choices for the possible answers are:
A: 25%
B: 50%
C: 0%
D: 25%
- ChatGPT:
The answer is D: 25%. Since there are four possible answers, each answer has an equal chance of being chosen at random, and only one of the four choices is correct. Therefore, the probability of choosing the correct answer is 1/4 or 25%.
So much for the I in ChatGPT being an example of AI...
Regards,
-- Harry

Where did this image come from?
I matched the image and found it to match an Australian "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" winner from November, 2005.
The photo in the image is not from the videos of the actual run of Mr. Martin Flood, the actual contestant who actually won the Million (Australian) Dollars on the show.
I first matched the picture in this email to an urban myth, promoted on several social media sites. (Using Google Image Match right here out of my Yahoo Mail email web page.)
The photo was altered to produce that question. It was a Photoshop image, never found in the original video or any accounts at the time or later of the winning run.
